AREA was a fantastic band from A Guarda (Pontevedra), a little town in the NorthWest of Spain with a lot of creativity in terms of multiple bands of several styles, but the HardcorePunk scene was a big one for a little town like it.

AREA has its roots on the HardcorePunk scene but as you can listen in these songs, they were a little beyond regarding to their music. They were highly influenced by the bands coming from a city called Washington D. C., you know, FUGAZI is the NAME here in their game, so according to this, you can not expect something bad, and if you add another high influence in their music like it was AINA from Barcelona, you can have the real essence of these 4 guys.

Of course, they are not the copy one thousand of any other band but taking the good essence of those we mentioned they created their own sound and of course their own ROCK.

AREA is a Rock band that keeps its roots on the HardcorePunk scene, which is a great thing!

AREA "s/t" was released as LP and only 500 copies were pressed of this masterpiece!
